Their first album in 15 years, King Animal, was met with open arms by fans and critics and stands up as one of the finest of their career. We caught up with Soundgarden to discuss the journey to their comeback, becoming more mature, why bands of 'yes men' suck, attracting a new generation of fans, the fear of returning, how it very nearly didn't happen and how they still 'mess up in the same places'.
