Fresh from their support slot with MGMT on their UK tour, New York rockers Guards performed a headline show at East London's London's Shacklewell Arms this week, bringing their psychedelic indie sounds to one of the capital's coolest music venues.

The band are one of the most exciting new guitar bands on the scene, and are ones to keep a keen eye on as 2014 rolls around. Their perfectly crafted indie tracks hit hard and pull no punches - but boast some of the finest melodies we've heard all year.
