SBTRKT is finally back with new material, this time previewing 6 new tracks on three separate EP's entitled TRANSITIONS.
The idea behind the project is that the tracks will lead into the upcoming second album by helping show the instrumental side of SBTRKT's work. The songs featured were worked on while recording the follow up to 2011's self-titled debut. Click here to hear the new tracks.

'This is music written over the last year, whilst recording for my second album', says SBTRKT. 'Much of the music I released before my debut album was instrumental and I want to continue to share this side of the music I make. This series of tracks is titled TRANSITIONS.'
The first two-track EP entitled TRANSITIONS I will be released on 5 May with the follow up landing 19 May and the last on 2 June. Released on Young Turks the artwork is made by Japanese creative agency Hidden Place and features a 2D optical illusion created by removing the sleeve of the vinyl. The effect can be previewed on the TRANSITIONS website.
