She has two first names but don't hold that against her. Kimberly Anne is a hugely talented new soul star on the UK scene, and is set to become all sorts of successful in 2014, with her own stunning brand of classic-sounding soul. The star has performed an acoustic version of her new track 'Start Over', and has today premiered the video on Gigwise, check it out below.
The singer cites Tracy Chapman among her influences, and the similarity between the two is remarkable, with Kimberly Anne sharing the same effortless, laidback vocal delivery and calming tones in her voice - albeit with a streetwise twang. This girl is pretty special. Watch Kimberly Anne's acoustic performance of 'Start Over' below.
'Start Over' is taken from new EP, Hard As Hello, which is released on 24 March 2014, on which Kimberly Anne has collaborated with producers who have previously worked on records by Bastille, Bombay Bicycle Club and Lianne Le Havas.
