Less than a day after revealing that his second album will be called X, and is to be released on 23 June, Ed Sheeran has teased a clip from his brand new single 'Sing.' Watch it below.

The song, like all songs, was produced by Pharrell Williams, and will be the first single from the follow up to Sheeran's debut album +.

The song sees Sheeran take his favoured ten-words-a-second approach, before he bursts into falsetto, shortly followed by the sound of a male choir. That's when it fades out, so we're just going to have to wait till Monday (7 April) to hear the rest.

The song will go on sale upon release in all countries except the UK, Ireland, Germany and Australia, where it will instead be released as part of an EP in a month's time. "Just the way that the countries' radios work," said Sheeran of the disparity, "but you'll get a full EP of cool shit further down the line."

Sheeran's debut album + was released in 2011, and spawned hit singles 'Lego House', 'The A Team' and 'You Need Me, I Don't Need You', the latter of which leant heavily on the influence of early Jason Mraz.

'Sing' is set to be revealed in full tomorrow (7 April), when it will receive its world exclusive premiere on BBC Radio 1.
