If Coachella wasn't already at the forefront of America's social consciousness, it is now after Saturday Night Live poked fun at the event in a TV sketch. See the video below.

Mocking Repulican politicians such asJeb Bush and Paul Ryan, played by Beck Bennett and Taran Killam respectively, the sketch takes swipes at the Republican Party and Coachella. The two politicians introduce their party message before Outkast or ("the Outkasts" as they refer to them), take to the stage. They also use words like "molly", "ratchet" and get their guns out for laughs.

Meanwhile Coachella is currently gearing up for its second run this weekend, with a series of gigs bridging the gap at various venues close to the site this week. Currently sets from Ellie Goulding, Pharrell Williams, Outkast and more are available to view online. Visit our video page for more.
