Australian soul star Chet Faker has premiered the video for '1998', the third single to be taken from his debut album, Built On Glass. Check it out below.
Picking up the tempo from previous releases 'Melt' and 'Talk Is Cheap', Faker reveals the most dance-inspired tune from his debut, with a 90s house beat underpinning his spectacular, emotive vocals. Faker doesn't star in the video himself, which is an animated and psychedelic affair, showing a cartoon version of the singer exploring a trippy, pencil-drawn landscape.

Speaking to Gigwise about his Built On Glass earlier this year, Faker revealed that the more danceable tracks on the album were in fact the darkest on the record.
"The first half of the record I was in a relationship, the second I wasn't," he told us in February 2014, ahead of the album's release. "If you listen to the lyrics of the second half of the album, which is the more upbeat half, it's actually really negative."
