Brilliant newcomers Flyte have premiered the video for their new track 'Where Nobody Knows Your Name' in all its lo-fi glory. Check it out below.
The band, who headline the Gigwise stage at this year's Great Escape Festival, are tipped for big things in 2014, due to their incredible knack with pop melodies and liking for terribly tight trousers. 'Where Nobdy Knows Your Name' is the b-side for current single 'We Are The Rain' and truth be told, this tender, understated track may be even better than the lead track. The video is a live performance of the track, made to look extremely retro with VHS crackles added in post production. Check it out below.
Speaking of the video, the band say: "We wanted to make a live session video but we didn't want it to look like everything else you see on YouTube. They always seem to be shot a posh camera with someone under a tree or by a river or in some immaculate warehouse space.
"In the end we did it with our own cameras, the ones we used for 'We Are The Rain'. They make it look like an entry into 'You've Been Framed' and we love the way the tape keeps breaking up."
