Brody Dalle has made her hotly-anticipated debut solo album, Diploid Love, available to stream online a week ahead of its release.
Diploid Love is the Australian musician's first solo collection. Dalle originally shot to fame with the acclaimed punk outfit The Distillers in the early 2000s, before the group disbanded. Dalle then founded Spinnerette, who released one album in 2009.

Diploid Love, which features contributions from the likes of Garbage's Shirley Manson and Emily Kokal of Warpaint, includes the excellent, murky lead single 'Meet the Foetus/Oh the Joy'. The album is honest, with track 'I Don't Need Your Love' detailing her difficult relationship with her father, and 'Meet the Foetus' chronicling her post-natal depression.
