We've all been growing nostalgic for the music of the 90s lately, what with the Britpop anniversary, Oasis rumours and Nirvana celebrations. But there was much more to the decade than the 90s than Cool Britannia and US alt-rock.
Underlying all of that seminal and era-defining music, was the hook of a good 'doot-doot-doo', 'whoa-ohs', 'na-na-nas', and/or 'ooh-ooh'. Any track that had any impact at all in the 90s would have been loaded with the abandon of mindless 'ooh' or 'la'-ing.
To prove that, the good people of CBS Music have blended the best 90s tracks from the likes of Nirvana, Weezer, The Offspring, Blur, Elastica, No Doubt, Garbage, Beck, Alanis Morissette, U2, Ween, The Lemonheads and more into one epic and dangerously infectious one mix.
