La Roux is back - and sounding brilliant, actually. The electro-pop star has premiered her brand new single, 'Let Me Down Gently' and announced second album, Trouble In Paradise. Listen below.
It has taken five years, but it was worth the wait. Elly Jackson (now a solo artist, following the departure of former collaborator Ben Langmaid from the project) has deliver a slick, subtle slice of electronic pop, one which is a far cry from the chart-topping, ear-bashing beats of her 2009 breakthrough hit, 'In For The Kill'. La Roux has also announced the release of new album, Trouble In Paradise, which will hit stores on 7 July 2014. Gigwise was recently given a very early listen to snippets of her new music and it sounded very brilliant indeed. The album artwork is above.
