Japanese punk band Melt Banana released their tenth (!!) studio album in 2013 and are currently on the road across the UK and stirring up some serious mayhem. Today they have premiered the psychedelic video for their new single 'Lefty Dog (Run Caper Run)' exclusively on Gigwise. Watch it first, below.
The track is a glorious wall of noise-rock which explodes with distortion and feedback, but underneath the chaos is a strong sense of melody that makes the track truly infectious. It is a riotous blend of hell-raising and harmonies, and not an easy mix to pull off. The video is a surreal, trippy experience, packed with colours and swirling images. Like the track itself it is unsettling, but deeply accessible. Check it out below.
