Macaulay Culkin was pelted with cups of beer and booed off stage in Nottingham this weekend, when his Velvet Underground tribute band, The Pizza Underground, performed live in Nottingham on 25 May.
The band, who perform pizza-themed variations on The Velvet Underground songs, were performing at Dot To Dot festival, but lasted just fifteen minutes.
According to Twitter reports, the band had played two songs when Macaulay Culkin decided to leave the stage after nearly being hit by a flying can during a Kazoo solo.

As the Nottingham crowd began hurling their drinks at the band, one member told the crowd: "Don't throw your beer, that's just stupid, drink it."
Macaulay Culkin rose to fame back in 1990 with the hugely successful Home Alone series. Since then, his acting career has faded significantly, though he has remained the subject of tabloid speculation due to frequent arrests and substance abuse problems.
The band are set to continue touring the UK tonight (26 May), as they take their unusual act to Birminham. Let's just hope they make it to song three this time.
