Arcade Fire appeared on Jools Holland last night (27 May) to perform two songs from their new album Reflektor. Watch the performances below.

The band appeared on the iconic BBC programme, which has been running since 1992, alongside Sharon Van Etten and Wild Beasts.

The US group performed 'You Already Know' and 'Normal Person' from Reflektor, which was released last year, reaching No.1 in both the UK and the US albums chart.

The band followed their performance of 'You Already Know' with 'Normal Person'. "Thank you very much, live television on the BBC" said lead singer Win Butler during the song's introduction. "Do you like rock and roll music? 'Cause I do."

The band recently courted controversy over the music video for 'We Exist', which featured Andrew Garfield as a transgender women coming to terms with her identity. Against Me!'s Laura Jane Grace criticised the video for failing to use an actual trans actor.

Arcade Fire will play two nights at London's Earls Court in June, before headlining Glastonbury later that month. For more information, visit Gigwise Tickets.
