Curated by The Futureheads, with guitarist Ross Millard at the helm as Split’s Music Programmer, Sunderland’s Split Festival is now in its third year and promises to be bigger and better than ever before.
With the likes of The Drums, The Charlatans, Mystery Jets, Frankie & the Heartstrings and the Brit award winning Beth Orton on the bill, the line-up boasts some of the UK's best loved bands alongside the North East’s local talent and emerging international artists.
With a main stage and fringe stage that will host a variety of acoustic artists and comedians, Split Festival has all grounds covered for an up-and-coming festival. Not only that, but BBC Masterchef finalist Stacie Stewart will be hosting the food tent, serving up gourmet dishes to keep you energised throughout.
You could also be there as Gigwise is offering two pairs of weekend passes to the festival at Ashbrooke Sports Club.
No need to worry about the rain either, as the whole event takes place in a massive marquee.
