Who We Are

We’re Gigwise, and we love music. Our passion drives us to bring you the best in music news, reviews, and interviews. Every day, we work to keep you in the loop about what’s happening in the music world.

Our team is made up of music fans just like you. We’re writers and editors who care deeply about getting the facts right and telling stories that matter. When you read Gigwise, you’re getting more than just news – you’re getting our shared love for music.

We know that music means different things to different people. That’s why we write for everyone, from the casual listener to the die-hard fan. Our goal is to help you discover new sounds, understand your favorite artists better, and stay up-to-date with the ever-changing music scene.

Our Story

We started Gigwise back in 2001 in Liverpool. At first, we were just a small site listing local gigs. But our love for music pushed us to grow. We expanded our coverage, and in 2006, we moved to London. Now, after more than 20 years, we’re still here, still passionate, and still sharing music news with you every day.

What We’ve Done

  • In December 2010, we were the 20th most-visited music news website in the UK.
  • In 2013, we were up for ‘Best Music Media Brand’ at the Music Week Awards.
  • We’ve run stages at big festivals like Get Loaded In The Park and Liverpool Sound City.
