Everyone at Gigwise loves The Drums, we play 'Let's Go Surfing' all the time and even in these icy Winter months it still packs the same sunshine punch it did when we first heard it. However, The Drums are not all they make out to be. Like Blur or The Bravery the Florida group have left a former band behind in all but it's online trail. With pictures, MP3's and videos strewn across the net The Drums hopes of forgetting about their past as Elkland will prove pretty difficult. Just as catchy as their future incarnation but even more indebted to the eighties, Elkland's mix of glam electronic rock saw the band earn a support slot with Erasure and a place on the Fifa 2005 soundtrack.
