Inspired by The Green Man Festival alloyed with the ideal of making a festival with ones very own favourite bands, End of the Road Festival sees fit to exist from 2006. The utopian festival where every band's a headliner who's allowed to go on for as long as pleases them and their audience (to an extent obviously).
Not only does the music promise both quality and quantity thereof, but the food and beer (including the Glastonbury famed Somerset Cider Bus) are expected to be fair trade, organic, and from local origins where possible. Films and workshops will flourish throughout the weekend, and bands are invited to lend their talents there. Sponsorship is not invited (besides a little filming expertise), and the security guards and stewards are not Hells Angels, but those sent from Heaven and Oxfam.
It's worth it just to wonder with the parrots and peacocks that freely roam, and enjoy great music with like minded folk.
