Oya Festival (NOR)

The Øya Festival is billed as a festival put together by music lovers, for music lovers with Brilliant acts both international and Norwegain.

The Festival is situated in a medieval park, surrounded by sand and trees. And is very keen to promote enviromental activity with organic waste used to produce heat and energy, as well as campaigning for emission reductions and being the only festival in Scandinavia with 100% organic food.

The festival closes at 11pm but works with various clubs and venues within Oslo so the party can continue in to the night. Camping is available and hotels working in conjuction with festival for cheaper stays.

Previous international acts include Nine Inch Nails, Morrissey, Sonic Youth and Primal Scream. With Norwegian acts such as Röyksopp, Turbonegro and Kings Of Convenience.
