In case you were interested, Bandcamp have tweeted a list of the 10 most commonly found names on their site. Look away now if you think your band's name might be a little too obvious...

The company, set up in 2008, has revealed the names of artists that are most frequently registered with their site, and it seems that, for some reason, people really like calling their bands 'Atlas'.

This name tops the list, and is followed closely by classics such as 'Apollo', 'Bloom' and 'Nomad'.

Since it was set up, the company has aimed to give artists a platform to gain recognition and share their work, by providing an online music store to its users, as well as easy access to its artists' content. 

The list comes in the form of a tweet from the company, and we're just as surprised as they are that they have 59 bands called 'Atlas'.
