Bloc Festival has announced that this year's festival will be its last - but it's going out with a bang.
The festival celebrates its tenth anniversary this year at Minehead's Butlins, with a line-up that includes the likes of Thom Yorke, Four Tet, Holly Herndon, Jeff Mills and Floating Points - but it's not going to be returning in 2017.
"After ten glorious years – this is it," read a statement on the festival's website. "It’s the final one and we won’t be doing any curtain calls, encores, reunion tours or one-last-jobs. We think that this lineup and the show we have planned is a fitting, powerful crescendo to Bloc’s story."
The festival organisers do have a plan for the future though - to build a London superclub. "We're going to build a superclub," co-founder Alex Benson told Resident Advisor. "As many of you will know, we started a venue in an ex-industrial building in London, then renovated the surrounding warehouses into music studios and workspace. A community sprung up around it and it has been one of the most rewarding things we have ever been involved in."
The final ever Bloc Festival takes place at Butlins Resort Minehead between 11 - 13 March. See the full line-up below, and get tickets and more information here.
