Kurt Cobain's daughter Frances Bean spoke out to pay tribute to her late father on the anniversary of his death.
Yesterday marked 22 years since the iconic Nirvana frontman's suicide. Frances, who was also a producer on the acclaimed Cobain documentary film Montage Of Heck, honoured her father on Instagram - as well as Alice In Chains' Lane Staley, who died on the same day but in 2002.
"Rest in peace, you beautiful souls," she wrote:
Frances went on record last year as saying 'I don't actually like Nirvana that much' - adding that she preferred Mercury Rev and Oasis. As a result, Noel Gallagher would later dedicate a song to her at a gig. This comes after she came to blows with Lana Del Rey, who allegedly said 'I wish I was dead' and came under fire for 'romanticising' the death of young musicians.
Meanwhile, Frances is currently in the midst of divorcing The Eeries' Isaiah Silva, while attempting to protect all money from her father's estate in the proceedings.
