Rolling Stones’ Ronnie Wood has become a father again at the age of 68, after his wife Sally Humphreys gave birth to twin girls.

The musician had four children before his marriage to Humphreys, the oldest of whom - Jesse - turns 40 this year. Now, he’s a new dad again with the birth of his fifth and sixth children, and Humphreys’ first.

The theatre production company owner gave birth on 30 May, and the twin girls are called Gracie Jane and Alice Rose.

Speaking ahead of the birth, Wood said, “I’m going to be changing the nappies and all that goes with it. I’m very good at it and looking forward to all that. I love being a dad and to have this happening is just wonderful, I’m a lucky guy.”
