Glastonbury Festival have revealed plans to honour the late, great Jo Cox MP - by announcing a memorial event as well as having the line-up contribute to a live album.
The 41-year-old Labour MP, humanitarian and mother of two was ruthlessly attacked and killed in her West Yorkshire constituency last week, sending shockwaves throughout the world.
Now to honour Cox, Glastonbury are inviting early-comers at the festival to attend a special tribute in her honour, taking place at The Park Stage tomorrow:
On Wednesday 22nd June, at 4pm, we will be holding a tribute to Jo Cox on The Park Stage on what would have been her 42nd birthday.

Not only that, but Muse, Coldplay, and Foals are among the acts to contribute to Glastonbury's first ever official live album - which will also be released in her memory.
Sigur Rós, the Last Shadow Puppets, Chvrches, Wolf Alice, Laura Mvula, Jamie Lawson, John Grant, Jack Garratt, Two Door Cinema Club, the 1975, Editors, Years & Years and Fatboy Slim will also be lending Glasto live tracks to 'Oxfam Presents: Stand As One – Live at Glastonbury 2016', which is out on July 11.
“We are making this special live album from Glastonbury this summer because the scale of the refugee crisis is so huge we simply had to do something," said Glastonbury organiser Emily Eavis. "We want people who are far from home and frightened to know we are doing whatever we can to help. To know the artists who play here are doing whatever they can. To know the people who love their music are doing whatever they can. Now it’s time for world leaders to do the same.
"All of us – Glastonbury, Oxfam, musicians and music-lovers everywhere must Stand As One to demand action for refugees.”
The weather forecast is less than promising, and video footage shows that the Glastonbury site has already flooded.
Headlined by Muse, Coldplay and Adele alongside the likes of New Order, The 1975, Chvrches, PJ Harvey, Bring Me The Horizon, LCD Soundsystem, Beck, Sigur Ros and many more. Check out the set and stage times here.
Glastonbury takes place at Worthy Farm in Somerset from 22-26 June 2016.
