When and where is it taking place?
Reading + Leeds Festival takes place this weekend, from Friday 26 August to Sunday 28 August. The Reading edition takes place at Little John’s Farm on Richfield Avenue in Reading, while Leeds Festival is held in Branham Park.
Who’s headlining?
There’s two nights of joint headliners this year. While Red Hot Chili Peppers have a headline slot to themselves, the other two nights are both being shared. Foals and Disclosure share a headline slot on one night, while Biffy Clyro and Fall Out Boy share the other. That basically means five headliners for the price of three.
What other good bands are playing?
Check out the full line-up poster below. You obviously can’t possibly watch all of those bands though (unless you have a time turner, in which case, go forth and conquer) - so some of the acts not to miss include Chvrches, The Internet, Hinds, Haim, Nas, Blossoms, The 1975, The Japanese House, Ezra Furman, Lady Leshurr and Little Simz. Got it? Good.
Where can I get tickets?
You can get tickets for Reading Festival right here…
And there are still a few tickets left for Leeds Festival, and you can get your hands on tickets for that here.
Can I see a 2016 site map before I arrive?
You sure can. If you’ve never been before, chances are you’ll still get lost between two and seven times, depending on how much alcohol you’re planning on consuming, but studying this for a bit might help.
What should I pack?
Here’s a basic festival packing list for all the essentials you mustn’t forget - and if you’re looking to think a little more outside the box, here’s 15 things you might not think to bring, but really should.
