Headlined by Red Hot Chili Peppers, Foals with Disclosure and Biffy Clyro, this years Reading & Leeds edition brings a lot of funky new acts to its fields.
While the main stage shines with the likes of Die Antwoord, Fall Out Boy, Chvrches and A$AP Rocky, other stages are not lacking in diversity either.
On BBC Radio 1 stage we expect to see current Mercury Prize Nominees The 1975 and fresh chart toppers Blossoms, contrasting with Savages, Rat Boy and The Neighbourhood. Lock Up Stage this year is headlined by legendary Good Charlotte, while BBC Radio 1Xtra showcases the hottest line-up in urban music with Kano, Whiley and Stormzy.
Praised as future Maccabees, Brighton's quartet The Magic Gang are playing Festival Republic Stage, alongside The Temper Trap, Låpsley and Eagulls. BBC Music Introducing Stage this year sparks interest with Castles, High Tyde and Faux Pas.
