George Michael's boyfriend, Fadi Fawaz, has spoken out about finding him dead on Christmas Day. Fawaz has been with the singer since 2011 and found Michael's body after visiting at his home in Goring, Oxfordshire on Christmas Day.
In an interview with The Daily Telegraph, the celebrity hairdresser said: "We were supposed to be going for Christmas lunch. I went round there to wake him up and he was just gone, lying peacefully in bed. We don't know what happened yet."
"Everything had been very complicated recently, but George was looking forward to Christmas, and so was I. Now everything is ruined. I want people to remember him the way he was - he was a beautiful person."
Fawaz also paid tribute on Twitter:

Moving tributes have been pouring in across for the ex-Wham! star since his death on Christmas Day.
His ex-partner Kenny Goss said in a statement: "I’m heartbroken with the news that my dear friend and long-time love George Michael has passed.
“He was a major part of my life and I loved him very, very much. He was an extremely kind and generous man.
"The beautiful memories and music he brought to the world will always be an important part of my life and those who also loved and admired him.”
George Michael sold more than 100 million records during his career and defined British pop. Hs talent as a songwriter was recognised from fans of all genre persuasions because at the root of everything he ever put out were great songs that could take on any production guise and speak to millions - he also and an undeniably strong voice.
As Twitter user Mathew Rudd wrote: "He was only 53. He wrote Careless Whisper when he was 17. Some people can't write a shopping list at 17."
