Having already covered a variety of his favourite albums including The Stone Roses' debut, Nirvana’s Nevermind, Bob Marley’s Legend and more, there’s no doubt that Eat.My.Uke is only getting better with each ukulele cover he reveals.
Even just last night (27 December) he uploaded a cover of Smashing Pumpkins’ Siamese Dream, featuring a quick snippet of one of their well known tracks 'Disarm'.
His cover of Radiohead’s OK Computer is potentially his best to date, as he plucks the intricate riffs from some of Radiohead’s best tracks, including 'Paranoid Android', 'Karma Police' and 'No Surprises' with fine technique.
By transposing the rhythm guitar on one take and the lead on another before mixing the two together for the above recording, you get a full polyphonic picture and can't help but feel immersed in the real thing. To achieve this on the humble uke is some feat.
Having started his top 50 album covers five months ago, Eat.My.Uke is well underway with his ukulele covers, and will be due to upload another next week.
