Following on from their incredible new single ‘Swine’, The Blinders are about to take their snarling punkadelia on a UK-wide tour for the first time and tickets are selling fast.

Manchester outfit The Blinders have been making waves wide across the UK with their politically charged psychedelic punk. Widely lauded as one of the nation’s most exciting and vital new bands, the trio is now set to head out on their first headline UK tour, in association with rock’n’roll club-night heavyweights This Feeling.

With 10 years experience championing some of the best new names in alternative music and consistently curating some of the finest rock and roll nights to bless these shores, you can be sure to trust This Feelings judgement when it comes to new artists. Following on from two sold-out shows with the promoters at the start of the year, in both Manchester and London, this February The Blinders are heading out on a 14 date UK tour in support of a new 7” that boasts the two singles, ‘Swine’ and ‘Ramona Flower’. You can check out the video for 'Swine' below.

‘Swine’ is a no-holds-barred blast of visceral punk, with a dark psychedelic undertone. Described by the band as “a tale of dark evenings, lost bums, homeless souls, and the realisation of how close we are to falling into the abyss”, Swine’s brooding, groove-ridden ‘punkadelia’ falls somewhere between The Cramps and The Horrors. Armed with an incessant dissatisfaction with popular culture and the current socio-political order, The Blinders arrive just in time - a noisy glimmer of hope for the 21st Century fed-up, and that’s all of us, right? I mean, they make their ethos pretty clear in the video for ‘Swine’ in which Thomas has ‘Fu….. Tories’ emblazoned across his guitar and I’m sure we can all fill the gaps there.

The Blinders are on the cusp of reaching dizzying heights and I’d comfortably bet that this will be one of your last opportunities to catch their frenzied live show in an intimate venue so I definitely wouldn’t sleep on getting tickets, they’re selling FAST.
