Ariana Grande has expressed her sorrow following the suicide attack that left 22 people dead and dozens injured at the Manchester Arena last night (May 22).
The attack occurred in the foyer of the Manchester Arena after the singer’s concert had ended. Ariana Grande was unhurt in the incident but has described herself as “broken”.
Taking to social media, she tweeted: “Broken. From the bottom of my heart, I’m so sorry. I don’t have the words.”

Her manager Scooter Braun made a longer statement. He said: “Tonight, out hearts are broken, Words cannot express our sorrow for the victims and families harmed in this senseless attack.
"We mourn the lives of children and loved ones taken by this cowardly attack.We are thankful for the selfless service tonight of Manchester’s first responders who rushed towards danger to help save lives. We ask all of you to hold the victims, their families, and all those affected in your hearts and prayers."
