Not one to rest on her laurels, Beyonce is said to be working on new music and is planning a surprise tour. Apparently, the ‘Hold Up’ singer is ditching maternity leave in favour of work because she’s feeling “inspired”.
An unnamed source told Radar Online: “Beyoncé is already hard at work, having the twins has inspired her. She has been recording new material and is planning a surprise tour for her fans too – expect an announcement soon. She is more determined than ever and feels inspired by having her babies recently.”
The source continued: “Beyonce has hired nannies to help with the twins and she’s been writing and recording new material while working hard to get back in shape. There is no way she is going to step away for a few years to raise her kids, that is not on her agenda at the moment, she’s raring to go again.”
Her last album, ‘Lemonade’, was released in April 2016 and she took the album out on an eight-month tour that wound up in November last year.
The source also revealed that Beyonce was also inspired to spring into action after watching Missy Elliot’s performance with her sister Solange Knowles at the FYF Festival in Los Angeles: "Seeing Missy back on stage after all those years also really sparked Beyonce and she is determined to really make a mark herself and be an inspiration to other women as well.”
It looks like Beyonce might be in for a busy time. As previously reported on Gigwise, the singer is being chased by director Jon Favreau to voice the character of Nala in the re-make of Disney’s The Lion King.
