Marilyn Manson went on Zane Lowe's Beats 1 show with the surprise news that he's got a new album ready to put out on 6 October via Caroline International.
His tenth album will feature the track below, of which Zane Lowe said: "It flies out of the speakers. The first time I heard it I felt like my car levitated 6 inches off the ground. It takes off, and vocally, I haven’t heard Manson that aggressive and immediate on a record for a long time."
Zane makes a very good point. It sounds terrifying with an ominous distorted guitar intro being pumped along by a thunderous bass drum, and some croaky spoken word passages and intense screams reminiscent of his classic 1996 album Antichrist Superstar. There is a Killing Joke-esque groove that makes it very danceable as well.
