London based electronic duo Strange Boy have unveiled an animated video for their song ‘Annunciation’ the title-track and first single off their forthcoming EP released 17th November via the newly launched Glass Guts imprint.

The track itself follows the transition into young adulthood with wry, Leonard Cohen-esque imagery initially backed up by sparse electronic soundscape that develops into a lush, almost post-rock backdrop deftly mirroring the emotion highs and lows of singer Kieran Brunt’s vocals.

The track is now paired with an animation video designed by fellow Glass Guts signing Jethro Cooke. It is similarly sparse and the apparent coldness of it juxtaposes neatly with Kieran’s heartfelt, honest lyricism.

To support the EP release Strange Boy have announced a headline show at Thousand Island in Highbury (formerly Upstairs at The Garage) on 28 November.
