25-26 August 2007, Bank Holiday Weekend
Kings Cross Freight Depot, Kings Cross, London N1
Around £20 + Booking fee per day in advance
Details: August bank holiday weekend is already a major date in the UK's event calendar, with people throughout the land being sent into a frenzy over their choice of where to spend, what is to many, one of the year's most exciting weekends. TDK Cross Central is set to make that choice simple, bridging gaps between live music, film, club culture and art, as a truly unique weekend of compelling, end-of-summer entertainment in The Big Smoke.
The barrier between dance and alternative or indie music is coming down, with more live dance acts emerging onto the scene and clear influences from guitar based music penetrating both the cutting edge end of the dance spectrum and even the mainstream dance market.
The two days of TDK Cross Central will offer some of the best contemporary artists in their fields, featuring acts who straddle genres and are creating the new soundscapes. Each day will include nine separate arenas and external stages and up to 13 soundsystems, with an eclectic and inspirational programme of bands, music and visuals by one dot zero who are currently on tour with U2.
