Muse and Pulp are among a number of bands who have come together to help build a visionary new centre to tackle the issue of climate change.

Tracks by The Magic Numbers and Goldfrapp have also been made available to people who pledge to the Edge campaign, organised by the Eden Project in Cornwall.

All the live tracks were recorded during the six year history of the Eden Project, during which it has become one of the most popular tourist attractions in the United Kingdom.

It’s hoped that with the support of the public, Eden will hold off competition from three other projects fighting for a £50 million Big Lottery Fund grant.

Peter Hampel, Eden’s creative director, said that “the combination of brilliant performances and the unique Eden setting means fans are in for a real treat.”

He added: “It is great that these artists have got behind the Edge and understand what it will mean not just for Eden – but for the entire planet.”
