Slash and will.i.am Remix The Who's 'My Generation' For Haiti

Guns N' Roses legend Slash and The Black Eyed Peas' will.i.am have remixed The Who's 'My Generation' to help the relief effort in Haiti.

The reworked version of the 1965 anthem will be available to download via iTunes immediately after The Who perform the prestigious half-time slot at Super Bowl XLIV in Florida on February 7th.

All proceeds from the download will go directly to Haiti.

Speaking to Billboard.com, will.i.am enthused: It's The Who, their song, and then I altered the lyric to fit my generation now and then have Slash on it.

"It was awesome. I loved that song way before this even came up, and talking to Pete Townshend on the phone is like, 'What?! I'm talking to Pete Townshend on the phone?!'."

He continued: “That was awesome, being able to just hear their advice and everything. Those guys are just awesome."
