- More P Diddy
The administrator of Crystal Palace has said he would be “delighted” if P Diddy made an offer to buy the club.
On Thursday, the rapper's spokesperson confirmed to Gigwise that he had expressed an interest in buying the club, which is currently languishing at the bottom of the Championship.
P Diddy – real name Sean Coombs – is understood to have met football fixers during a visit to the UK earlier this month.
Administrator Brendan Guilfoyle told the BBC he was a “big hip-hop fan” and had been buoyed by the rapper's interest.
He added that he "would willingly fly to New York to meet him to discuss a purchase".
Crystal Palace were play-off contenders before being automatically docked 10 points for going into administration in January.
Now fourth from bottom, the London-based club face a battle to stay in the Championship.
