- More Gorillaz
Gorillaz have announced a two night residency at The Roundhouse in Camden next month.
The gigs on April 29th and April 30th will be the cartoon collectives' first shows in the capital in nine years and their first full UK performance since Demon Days Live at the Manchester Opera House in 2005.
Impressively, Damon Albarn and co. will be joined by Bashy, De La Soul, Mick Jones, Kano, Little Dragon, Mos Def, National Orchestra for Arabic Music, Gruff Rhys, Shaun Ryder, Paul Simonon and Bobby Womack at the shows.
The dates will also include a full production, featuring video animation, artwork and film by Jamie Hewlett alongside music from all three of their albums.
The Roundhouse residency follows Gorillaz' (Damon Albarn with Paul Simonon and Mick Jones) fanclub only tour of the UK this month which kicked off at Portsmouth Wedgewood Rooms last night.
The band are also due to headline Coachella Festival in California next month.
Tickets, costing £45, are available in person from the Roundhouse box office from 9am this Friday (March 26). They will also be available from the Live Nation and Roundhouse websites.
