Liam Gallagher has been voted the greatest frontman of all time in a fresh magazine poll.
Thousands of Q Magazine readers voted for their favourite rock frontman with the former Oasis man coming top ahead of Bono and Freddie Mercury.
Ever modest, Liam compared himself to Elvis Presley in his Q interview, saying: ''There is Elvis and me. I couldn't say which of the two is best."
Kasabian's Tom Meighan also backed the poll result, saying: “Chris Martin is all right if you're 35 and feeling sad that your mortgage repayments have gone up but Liam is the voice you want if you're free and up for anything."
Somewhat surprisingly, Mick Jagger, James Brown, Bruce Springsteen and Robert Plant all failed to dent the top ten.
