Dizzee Rascal Favourite To Become First Black James Bond

Dizzee Rascal has topped a poll to find the most popular choice for the first black James Bond.

The British grime star received 67 per cent of the public vote, beating actor Will Smith into second place.

Adrian Lester, star of BBC One drama Hustle, came third in the poll, which was conducted by a second-hand items listings website.

Preloved's users also went for Rascal ahead of US president Barack Obama, rapper Jay-Z and F1 driver Lewis Hamilton.

Meanwhile, Transformers star Megan Fox was the public's favourite to be the next Bond Girl, narrowly receiving more votes than Beyonce.

The role of the infamous 007 spy is currently held by Daniel Craig.

As previously reported on Gigwise, Lady Gaga is understood to be the favourite to write the theme for the next Bond film, which goes into production later this year.
