M.I.A. - In April 2010, M.I.A. (Maya Arulpragasam) hit out at Lady Gaga calling the pop star merely "a good mimic" and comparing her music to "20 year-old Ibiza disco." Accusing Gaga of aping herself, Grace Jones and Madonna, M.I.A. added to the NME: "She's not progressive, but she's a good mimic. She sounds more like me than I fucking do! That's a talent, but she's the industry's last stab at making itself important." Handbags please.

People need to stop insulting her and actually listen to her music--it's beautiful. The lyrics and the videos might not always be the cleanest, or the most entertaining to some, but in my honest opinion they're amazing. Lady Gaga has helped so many people [her little monsters] feel free and loved-- myself included. Leave her alone; When you hurt her, you hurt us too.

Finally something about Lady Gaga I can read and enjoy. I have had enough about hearing how she is the god of the planet and that we should all go out with cigarette glasses and can of coke in our hair.
