Gigwise editor Scott Colothan leaves the company today (June 11) after five years, we are sad to announce.
The 29-year-old, who joined the music website when it was still based in Liverpool, will be fondly missed by his colleagues present and past.
Deputy Editor Jason Gregory said: "Having worked with Scott for more than three years it's going to be sad to see him leave.
"But I, along with the rest of the team, will always have the memories - not to mention the incriminating photos."
Scott leaves behind an impressive legacy, which includes a series of unforgettable exclusives and big hitting galleries.
But none of these even comes close to his finest moment when, in 2007, he described Kaiser Chiefs album 'Yours Truly, Angry Mob' as "the sound of a band hitting a creative brick wall".
The ridicule made our outgoing Editor a hate figure of the Leeds band's fans - a position he secretly loved.
Sadly members of Kaiser Cheifs were unable to comment on Scott's departure.
Gigwise would like to wish Scott the best for the future and hopes that it brings him many exciting new ventures, as well as new Radiohead album.
