Paramore, 30 Seconds To Mars Lead Kerrang Award Nominations

Paramore and 30 Seconds To Mars lead the nominations at this year's Kerrang! Awards with four each.

Both bands are shortlisted in the same four categories: Best Album, Best Live Band, Best Video and Best International Band.

30 Seconds to Mars frontman Jared Leto said the group were “very grateful” to have picked up so many nods.

“It’s no secret that we have a very special relationship with a wonderful family of vagabonds travelling the world with us,” he added.

Paramore's Hayley Williams said: “We're so stoked our fans voted for us in all these categories. I'm especially excited to be nominated for Best Live Band. That means the world!”

Other nominees include Avenged Sevenfold, Four Year Strong, Slipknot and You Me At Six, who are all shortlisted for Best Single.

You Me At Six are also nominated for Best Album, alongside Biffy Clyro and Bullet For My Valentine.

The Kerrang! Awards are due to take place in London on July 29.
