Thousands of people have queued up to buy Apple's latest mobile phone, which went on sale today (June 24).
Many customers queued through the night for the iPhone 4, which is 24% thinner than its predecessor, and includes an enhanced display and stainless steel case.
In London, a thousand fans gathered outside Apple's flagship store, which opened earlier than normal at 7am (BST).
Some customers had been queuing since Tuesday (June 22), according to the Press Association.
iPhone 4 will be available on O2, Vodafone and Orange, as well sim-free from Apple stores.
The phone also has two cameras - one on the front and one on the back - and will allow users to chat via video over wifi.
