- More The Beatles
A caricature drawn by John Lennon during his 1969 bed-in with Yoko Ono has fetched £37,250 at auction.
The former Beatle sketched the image during their peace protest at the Queen Elizabeth Hotel in Montreal.
It was one of a number of pieces of pop and rock memorabilia that went under the hammer at Christie's In London on Thursday (June 24).
Other popular lots include a jacket worn by Michael Jackson, which fetched £22,500 – ten times it's estimate.
The collection, brought to auction by two private collectors, also included a guitar belonging to The Who's Pete Townshend and another originally owned by Steve Jones of the Sex Pistols.
