Glastonbury 2010 Hailed As 'Hottest Ever' By Organisers

Glastonbury organiser Michael Eavis has described this year’s event as the hottest ever.

Temperatures soared to highs of 28C during the three-day festival in Somerset.

The on-site medical team advised 2,955 over the weekend, mostly for sunburn.

Speaking at a press conference, Eavis said: "I have not seen one person drunk - more than 100,000 and not one person. They have been civilised.

"This is the hottest Glastonbury ever. I hope not too hot. But getting nice weather makes such a big difference."

The 40th anniversary edition of the festival featured performances from Stevie Wonder, Muse and Gorillaz.
