Eminem has spoken about his problems with drugs and admitted that he is now “proud” to be able to call himself an addict.
The US rapper told Vibe magazine that he was now able to discuss his issues “without any shame”.
Eminem took a break from music for three years from 2005 in order to undergo rehabilitation for dependency on sleep medication.
“I'm proud that I'm able to admit that I have a problem with a certain thing and I have to leave it alone and accept it,” he said.
“I'm proud that I'm strong enough to be able to walk away form those things."
The rapper is currently number one in the UK album chart with 'Recovery', which includes lyrics about his successful battle with drugs.
