Ramones' Marky Ramone 'Sues Over Unpaid Royalties'

The Ramones drummer Marky Ramone has begun legal action against the company responsible for paying the band's royalties.

Ramone, real name Marc Bell, claims he signed a royalties deal with the unnamed company in 2005, but that three years later the payments stopped.

According to TMZ, the payments ended “because of some allegedly shady business dealings”.

Court papers filed at New York Supreme Court stated that Ramone was seeking $175,000, plus more than $1million in damages.
