Kylie Minogue has spoken for the first time about her surprise appearance at the Glastonbury festival last weekend.
The Australian singer, who was forced to pull out of the event in 2005 when she was diagnosed with cancer, joined Scissor Sisters during their set on the Pyramid Stage.
"That was just magical, really,” Minogue said of her performance during an appearance on GMTV today (July 2).
"I had about four and a half minutes to try and take everything in and it was just great to be there with such good friends."
The singer, who sang 'Any Which Way' with the band, said she managed to catch a quick glimpse of the crowd.
"At a certain point I did look out to the audience, which is the most incredible sight, and the energy is incredible, and just thought, 'okay I've now had a taste of it',” she said.
Minogue's new album 'Aphrodite' is released on Monday (July 5).
Meanwhile, Scissor Sisters were watched by Sir Elton John as they opened the iTunes festival in London last night (July 1).
