Girls Aloud singer Cheryl Cole is being treated for malaria, it's been confirmed.
The X Factor judge, who recently returned from a holiday in Tanzania, was admitted to hospital on Monday (July 5).
It follows reports that the 27-year-old collapsed during a photoshoot at the weekend.
Malaria is a mosquito-borne infectious disease with symptoms ranging from headaches to fatigue.
Cole has been recently taking part in the X Factor auditions ahead of the programme's return later this year.
